I imagine you're already pretty familiar with the esoterica that can make up the academic engagement with 2000 years of Christian theological reflection. That, coupled with the busyness of field-education, internships, CPE, etc. can make it difficult to step outside of the picture.
I feel very sorry for those who go to seminary unwed.
I'm going to seminary this fall, unwed but not sure why would represent a problem (especially the two being connected together like that)
