Installation at Holy Apostles in Elizabethtown

Sorry it's taken so long to post the video.

Installation of Fr. Chris Larimer from Fr. Chris Larimer on Vimeo.

This is my installation as rector of Holy Apostles Anglican Church in Elizabethtown, KY. The officiant was the Right Reverend John A. M. Guernsey, Bishop of the Diocese of the Holy Spirit (Anglican Church in North America).

Unfortunately, we ran out of memory just after the Gospel, so you missed out on his sermon. But you don't have to miss out on anything else! Worship with us at 10AM on the Public Square.

Many blessings on your ministry, Father Chris.

I heard Bishop Guernsey preach at St. Andrew Anglican (Versailles)recently and was very impressed. I guess you will have a new bishop soon. Is that right?

Marvelous news! He is a great bishop (even if we share a fundamental disagreement - he's truly gracious).

The vestry has voted to align with the Diocese of the South. We've presented it to the congregation (who has until the end of the month to comment). I believe it will pass, and that it is a step in the right direction.

Currently, ACNA is finishing up the ordinal for a proposed prayer book. I've asked several times "Have you resolved the matter of pronoun usage, yet?"

I'll keep pushing until we have an answer.

BTW, are you ever available for teaching?
